Sirohi district is situated in Marwar region of Southern Rajasthan. Also known as Devnagri because of many temples and shrines situated here, Sirohi is divided into five tehsils. The district derives its name from Siranwa hills on whose Western Slope it stands. Sirohi is situated on National Highway 14 that connects Gujarat and Pali. State Highway 19 links Sirohi with Jalore. Abu Road is the main financial hub of the city.
