Annapurna Bhandar Yojana is a first of its kind initiative in the country launched by Government of Rajasthan on October 31, 2015. This unique example of public-private partnership is an attempt to modernize PDS in the state through an innovative model having dual benefits of PDS and modern retail, thereby providing choice of quality products for daily consumption. Under the scheme, better quality multi-brand products are provided to the general public through fair price shops. This scheme is also one of India’s biggest entrepreneurship drives with 5,000 fair price shop dealers (FPS) turning into entrepreneurs with Annapurna Bhandars. Annapurna Rasoi: With an objective to provide hygienic food to needy beneficiaries of the state, Government of Rajasthan has launched Annapurna Rasoi Scheme. Mobile kitchens, known as Annapurna Rasois offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at unbelievably low prices thus providing financial aid to the poor. One can get tea at Rs 2, breakfast at Rs 5 and lunch and dinner at Rs 8 at these mobile vans.
Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan is an initiative launched by Government of Rajasthan in the year 2016, which ensures proper implementation of water conservation and water harvesting in rural areas. The major aim of this project is to make every village self-dependent for its water needs and to increase the overall productivity of land. A hydrological unit based on the Four Waters Concept is constructed in the villages to harvest & store rain water. The stored water later serves the purpose of clean drinking water, and for other domestic & irrigation purposes. The project has made a huge difference in water scarcity scenario of Rajasthan. The programme is designed in such a way, that planning & execution to funding of the project is done through participatory basis from the village community. Financial & physical help from the citizens have made MJSA a colossal success in a short while.
Bhamashah Yojana is a scheme introduced by Government of Rajasthan to transfer financial and non-financial benefits of all the government schemes directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries in a transparent manner. The objective of the scheme is financial inclusion, women empowerment and effective service delivery.Multiple benefits of various government schemes like services of Public Distribution System (PDS), Education Scholarships, payments under MNREGA and Social Security Pensions etc. are routed through Bhamashah Scheme to the beneficiaries.
Bhamashah Swasthya Bima Yojana is a unique and unprecedented medical insurance scheme launched by Government of Rajasthan to provide cashless healthcare facilities to poor eligible families of the state. The scheme was a budget declaration for the financial year 2014-15 and was initiated on December 15, 2015 by the government in association with health department of Rajasthan. All families covered under the RSBY (Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana) and NFSA (National Food Security Act) can avail this scheme. The pioneering health insurance scheme provides hassle free cashless treatment to the patients and is committed towards good health and well-being of the people of the state. The implementation of the scheme is done through Bhamashah Cards. Health Insurance Cover of Rs. 30,000 for general illnesses and Rs. 3 lacs for critical illnesses is given to a family on floater basis in one year for IPD procedures. 7 day pre-hospitalisation and 15 days post hospitalization is also covered under the scheme. The scheme offered reduction in additional expenses whilst offering financial cover to customers against illnesses .
e-Mitra project was launched by Government of Rajasthan in the year 2004 (operational in 2005) with the aim of providing almost all government services to the state residents through an online platform. The main objective of the project is to make sure that no citizen has to visit the government offices redundantly to avail these services. The scheme is being implemented in the state using Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for convenience and transparency to citizens across all 33 districts of Rajasthan. e-Mitra centres provide numerous government and private services under a single roof. One can login to the e-Mitra portal, download the iPhone app & Android app, or walk into an e-Mitra kiosk/Center to avail these services. This allows the users to easily avail the services through their most convenient access mode.
Rajasthan Sampark is an e-initiative launched by Government of Rajasthan in 2014 for bringing ease and convenience to the life of the state’s residents. This project is an innovative e-governance tool that paves the way for common man to get in touch with state government departments. Government of Rajasthan has also launched CM Helpline-181 which has helped the citizens considerably in reaching out to the government for any minor or major issues which need to be resolved by state government departments. More than 27 lac grievances have been resolved under the scheme so far.
